We arrange a Curriculum Evening for parents of Y10 and Y7 pupils every year. The aim of the evening is to share with parents the expectations and challenges that pupils will face on their learning journey. Parents of Y7 pupils had the opportunity to gain an insight into how the KS3 (Y7, Y8 & Y9) curriculum is organised, how progress is monitored and reported on, as well as gain practical strategies to support learning. Staff from the core subjects English, Maths, Science and Modern Foreign Languages, along with Technology and IT were available for parents to meet and discuss the curriculum in more detail. Parents of Y10 pupils similarly had the opportunity to consider some of the key ways of supporting learning and to meet staff who will be working with their young person throughout Y10 & Y11. Please visit our download section to view some PowerPoint Presentations. |

| Internet Payments |
A new "Internet Payment" system (instructions can be found here) to enable parents to pay for trips and other school purchases can now be accepted via the PPS web site using credit or debit cards. Similar systems have already been installed in many schools nationally, bringing a number of important benefits:
Parents/Carers will receive a letter soon detailing their user name and password (these can be changed when you first log-in to the system). |

| OFSTED Report Following our very successful OFSTED inspection in January, Purbrook Park School has received further good news from the DfES that it will continue to retain its language college status. This will now give the school the impetus it needs to build on the strong work achieved so far since 2003, which has seen amongst other things, the gaining of the British Council International Schools Award. |
