The School Admissions Code (September 2021) published by the Department for Education, requires all admissions authorities to consult on their admissions arrangements if they are seeking to make changes from the previous year or if the arrangements have not been subject to a public consultation for at least 7 years, to ensure views are heard. Consultation must be for a minimum of 6 weeks between 1^st October 2026 and 31^st January 2027. The final arrangements must be determined by 28^th February 2027.

In accordance with the School Admissions Code, Purbrook Park School is consulting on its admissions arrangements for entry into the school from September 2028. The consultation period will run from 19^th October 2026 until 29^th November 2026. The letter and Admissions Policy 2028-29 below provide full details of the consultation.
