Year 11
The Final Year of Your GCSE Journey
| Mr Moon | Year Leader |
| Mrs Price | Assistant Year Leader |
Year 11 is an exciting and important milestone as pupils enter the final stage of their GCSE courses and prepare for their examinations in Summer 2027. This is an opportunity for pupils to build on the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout Key Stage 4 and to work towards achieving their full potential.
As the Year 11 pastoral team, our priority is to ensure that every pupil feels supported, motivated and ready to succeed. We work closely with tutors, teaching staff and families to help pupils stay focused, organised and confident throughout the year ahead.
Success in Year 11 is built on strong habits. We encourage all pupils to take responsibility for their attendance, punctuality, organisation, revision and engagement with learning. Every lesson, assessment and revision opportunity contributes to success, and developing consistent routines will help pupils make the most of their final year.
Year 11 is not only about examinations; it is also a year of personal growth, achievement and preparation for the future. We want pupils to embrace every opportunity available to them, celebrate their successes and take pride in the progress they make throughout the year.
Mr Moon and Mrs Price are committed to supporting pupils every step of the way. Whether pupils need help with organisation, guidance with revision, encouragement to achieve their goals, or simply someone to talk to, they are always available to offer support and advice. Together, we will ensure that every pupil is equipped to make the most of their final year at Purbrook Park School.
Strong communication between school and home is key to helping pupils achieve their best. We encourage parents and carers to work closely with us throughout the year and to contact us if they have any questions or require support.
We look forward to working with pupils and families during this exciting year and celebrating the achievements of the Class of 2027 as they complete their GCSE journey and prepare for the next stage of their education.
