YEAR 7-10 Throughout the whole year pupils work towards achieving their Leadership Ladder badges through completing activities. Pupils then also look at topics based on recognisable days and events that affect our society. |

Friendship and connections; building links with each other in our school community in response to Friendship Month Racism; tackling this in relation to Black History Month Self Care; managing feelings and emotions linking to anti-bullying week, world kindness day and stress awareness week Community care; creating a Christmas Hamper for a family in need linked to Homestart local charity |

Character Virtues; developing a greater understanding of the character virtues pupils have been developing so far Equity and Inclusion; understanding what prejudice is linking to Martin Luther King day and World Holocaust Day Self Care; understanding how to deal with illness, linked to World Cancer Day, Eating Disorder Awareness Week, Safer Internet Day and LGBT Month Community Care; Easter Hamper Food Bank Project, Random Acts of Kindness Challenge |

KS4 Year 11 - Throughout the year pupils work on subject specific Revision Ladder tasks and Careers exploration |

Connections and Communication; developing an understanding of how to complete cvs, interview techniques and recognising own strengths and weaknesses Revision Techniques; pupils will learn how to mindmap, create flash cards, use interleaving and chunking techniques Self Care; managing feelings and emotions linking to anti-bullying week, world kindness day and stress awareness week Exam Ready; exploring how to best preapre themselves for mock exams focusing on revision timetables, getting rest and what to expect in the exam |
Spring |
Mock Exams Mentoring and Reflection; pupils use the time in PDL during mocks to reflect on the exam process and have a mentor meeting with their tutor to discuss any worries Careers; a focused look at life after school to ensure pupils have a planned progression pathway Celebrating Your Time At School; reflecting back on what pupils have experienced in school and how this has shaped them to become the person they are. |
