Our Centenary 1924 - 2024

This year, we are delighted to be celebrating 100 years of excellent education at Purbrook Park School. Explore this new centenary section of our website to find out more about our upcoming centenary event.

Centenary Summer Fayre

We will be holding a Centenary Celebration with performances, picnics and a Summer Fayre on Saturday 6th July 2024 on our school field from 11.30am until 3.30pm, and we invite current and former pupils, along with friends and family, governors, trustees and local residents to come and join us - EVERYONE is Welcome!

We hope you enjoy our centenary celebrations!

Alumni School Tours

We will be holding tours of our school for any former pupils who wish to visit and re-ignite old memories and see how the school has grown and developed over the years.

Tours will be held between 10.00am and 11.30am on Saturday 6th July, and we hope you will stay for the afternoon. To book a place on our school tour, please contact: admin@purbrook.hants.sch.uk

100 Voices

Our one hundred years worth of alumni memories are rich and layered. In honour of our school’s centenary, we invite past pupils and former staff to share their favourite stories and photographs.

We want you to delve into our rich past by visiting this page and watch how it grows as we fill it with photos and memories from you all. But we need your help...

Help us reach 100!

If you have a story, memory or photographs that you would like to share, please contact: admin@purbrook.hants.sch.uk

School Events and Competitions

We will be running lots of competitions for our current pupils to get involved in, such as:

  • Designing a logo for the School Centenary - the design will be used on commemorative badges, lanyards, banners, posters, flags and on our school website and social media pages.
  • Creating a time capsule.
  • We will be running special centenary linked competitions around each subject for pupils to get involved in.
  • Prize-giving assemblies.
  • PTFA Events
