This year, we are delighted to be celebrating 100 years of excellent education at Purbrook Park School. Explore this new centenary section of our website to find out more about our centenary event, which was held on Saturday 6th July 2024.

Centenary Summer Fayre

Thank you to everyone who came and visited our Centenary Celebration, which included performances by our past and present pupils, along with picnics, over 40 stalls and traditional games stalls, refreshments, and a Summer Fayre on Saturday 6th July 2024.

Alumni School Tours - Fully Booked

We held tours of our school for over 300 former pupils who wished to visit and re-ignite old memories and see how the school has grown and developed over the years.

100 Voices

Our one hundred years worth of alumni memories are rich and layered. In honour of our school’s centenary, we invited past pupils and former staff to share their favourite stories and photographs.

We ask you to delve into our rich past by visiting this page and watch how it grows as we fill it with photos and memories from you all.

Help us reach 100!

If you have a story, memory or photographs that you would like to share, please contact: admin@purbrook.hants.sch.uk

School Events and Competitions

In our centenary year, we ran lots of competitions for our current pupils to get involved in, such as:

  • Designing a logo for the School Centenary - the design was used on commemorative badges, lanyards, banners, posters, flags and on our school website and social media pages.
  • Creating a time capsule, which was planted in the Medway area of the school by the Mayor of Havant and Headteacher, Mr Paul Foxley on Saturday 6th July.
  • Planting a commemorative tree which was planted in the Medway area of the school by the Mayor of Havant and Headteacher, Mr Paul Foxley on Saturday 6th July.
  • We ran special centenary linked competitions around each subject for pupils to get involved in.
  • Prize-giving assemblies.
  • PTFA Events were held each month leading up to the Centenary Summer Fayre on Saturday 6th July.

Fundraising Priorities for 2024

This year we are focussing our fundraising on developing our new Centenary Study Centre. Future plans include new Science laboratories and Sports facilities, including a new Multi-Gym.

In these financially constrained times, the school appreciates all forms of parental and community support and donations. If you would like to make a one-off and/or larger donation, or have any contact with businesses or funding organisations who might be interested in helping the school directly, please contact our Finance Team on; admin@purbrook.hants.sch.uk or call 02392 370351.

Regular donations

Help us to plan for the future with confidence.  If you would like to set up a regular donation, please contact our Finance Team on admin@purbrook.hants.sch.uk and they will be happy to help.

All contributions are completely confidential. However, big or small, they are all gratefully appreciated and will be put to good use. Your donations are crucial to sustaining the exceptional educational provision at the school and are a vital and valued form of funding.
