House Captains

We have two fantastic House Captains representing Galileo this Year. Ben ( centre) and Nicole (right) are currently part of the Senior Leadership Team and working closely with all pupils in the House.  Sophie our Deputy House Captain will be working with both Ben and Nicole to ensure all pupils in Galileo feel safe and happy at Purbrook Park. All three of our representatives consistently strive to be their best, setting an excellent example to all pupils in Galileo House.

House Captain - Ben (centre)

Hello, I am Ben and I have been playing football for 10 years since I was 5, playing in multiple teams and including having trials for Chelsea when I was 10 which was a great experience. I have also been doing D of E since the start of Year 10 and will be reserving my bronze award this year. I am also captain of the school footballYyear 11 team. I am very resilient and always helpful if anyone has any questions or queries.

As HouseCcaptain of Galileo, I would like to be a good role model for the younger years and be a helpful asset to the Galileo house this year. Alongside myself, Nicole and Mr Wilson I would like to improve parts of the House and help everyone to achieve their best.

House Captain - Nicole (right)

Hello, I’m Nicole and I’m one of Galileo’s HouseCcaptains for this year alongside Ben. I am a dancer, have been dancing for 6 years now, and have achieved many things during that time. In 2017, I won the dancer of dancer award for my school and in 2018, I won the star award out of everyone in my dance school. I also compete in the Southern open championships for freestyle dance and have competed in things like rock challenge. As a House Captain, I aim to be as helpful as I can and to make the Galileo House better.  I’m here to talk to anyone who has any problems and to be a good role model to everyone in the House.

Deputy House Captain - Sophie (left)

Hi, my name is Sophie,

I am Vice House Captain for Galileo. I have lived in Germany and Cyprus. When I lived in Cyprus I did swimming and when I lived in Germany I did dance and swimming. I’m really happy to be Deputy House Captain for Galileo. I can’t wait to work closely with all the pupils in my House to make it the best it can be!
