Examination Performance 2019
Congratulations to all our Year 11 pupils!
Well done to all our wonderful Year 11 pupils. We are very proud of every one of you.
The percentage of pupils achieving a strong pass or better (Grade 5+) in both English and maths is 38%, an increase of 10%, when compared to 2018. The percentage achieving a standard pass or better (Grade 4+) in both English and maths is 61%, an increase of 3% on last year.
Pupils have attained outstanding results in a number of subjects with the excellent support of parents and staff.
Alex Walton achieved 12 GCSEs including 4 grade 9s, 4 grade 8s and 1 grade 7. He said:
"12 years of my life all ending with a fantastic result. PPS have been the reason for that! Thanks to all my teachers for the help over these 5 years."
Amy Claydon achieved 11 GCSEs including 4 grade 9s, 4 grade 8s. She said:
"I'm extremely happy with my results and am grateful for all the support I have received."
Jamie Hiron achieved 11 GCSEs including 1 grade 9, 3 grade 8s and 4 grade 7s. He said:
"I couldn't be happier with the results I've received. I want to thank all my teachers. Everyone should be so proud of themselves."
