Newton House

Resilience • Inclusiveness • Curiosity
In Newton House, we are inspired by Isaac Newton’s enquiring mind and determination to investigate complex questions. His work on light and colour involved repeated experiments and the exploration of different explanations—an approach that reminds us to look closely, think carefully and keep searching for understanding.
We encourage our pupils to be curious, explore new ideas and take pride in solving problems. We build resilience by learning from mistakes, responding positively to feedback and recognising that not understanding something yet is a starting point, not a limit.
Our inclusive community values different talents, experiences and perspectives. Everyone should feel confident to contribute, ask for help and take on new challenges. Through academic effort, participation and everyday acts of kindness, we support one another to become more capable, confident and considerate.
Together, we keep questioning, keep learning and keep moving forward.
