Celebrating another fantastic year of GCSE results at Purbrook Park School!

We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 pupils, who are celebrating a brilliant set of results today!

There were smiles, cheers and some very proud moments as pupils opened their results and celebrated all their hard work.

This year’s highlights include:

⭐ 73% of pupils achieved Grade 4+ in English
⭐ 74% achieved Grade 4+ in Maths
⭐ 65% achieved Grade 4+ in both English and Maths
⭐ 53% achieved Grade 5+ in English
⭐ 50% achieved Grade 5+ in Maths
⭐ 37% achieved Grade 5+ in both English and Maths
⭐ Our Attainment 8 score is 43.77

We are also delighted to celebrate exceptional A Level Sociology results, with all four pupils entered achieving an A or A*! 

For our pupils, the moment they opened their results said it all.

• Isabel: “I’m pleased with my results – especially my A* in A Level Sociology!”

• Evie: “I actually don’t know what to say! I’m so happy with my results! Looking forward to college next year!”

Today has been about much more than numbers and grades. It has been wonderful to see pupils, families and colleagues together, celebrating the determination, resilience and hard work that has brought our Year 11 pupils to this point.

To every pupil receiving results today: be proud of what you have achieved and excited about what comes next.
