PTFA

Parent, Teacher and Friends Association – PTFA – Supporting Purbrook Park School

It has been proven that schools are stronger when they have a parent body which is committed to both their child/ren and the school that serves them.

Our aim is to COLLABORATE with the school, ENRICH the lives of the children attending through the activities we run and the money we raise, and finally, we SUPPORT the children, schools, parents and teachers.

By getting involved, you can become an incredible part of school life and contribute to the many fundraising events we will organise. Our fundraising will then enhance the educational needs of all pupils.

We are fortunate to have a number of parents who are committed to making our PTFA a huge success. The local community will play an important role in our PTFA, and we will take every opportunity to engage with parents and local residents.

We also run a popular Facebook page – so visit us there for current news and events, plus useful information about the school community.  Please visit: Purbrook Park School PTFA and like and follow our page.

The PTFA are committed to raising funds to enhance the opportunities available to the students at our school.

In 2025 and 2026, we held the following events to raise funds for the school:

  • Remembering D-Day Fundraiser
  • Christmas Market – this raised over £3000 for Purbrook Park School pupils.
  • Summer Fair

PTFA Events in 2026

We held a Summer Fair on Saturday 4th July 2026 and will be holding another Christmas Market on Saturday 21st November 2026.

Please follow this link PTFA for our Upcoming Events or our PTFA Facebook page  for more information...

Would you like to join our PTFA?

Interested in the PTFA? We are always looking for helpers to join us on the committee. It’s only a few informal meetings during the year, a great way to get involved in your child's school, raise money and make new friends!

There are a variety of ways you can help and get involved with the PTFA, from attending one of our meetings, manning a stall at our fayres, volunteering for one of our other events or simply by coming along to our events and donating towards our fundraising activities. Every donation – be it your time or money is always very greatly appreciated and makes such a difference for the pupils at Purbrook Park School.

If you are interested in getting involved with our Parent Teacher Friends Association (PTFA) or any of our school events, please email: purbrookparkschoolptfa@gmail.com

Alternatively, if you leave your name and contact details at the school, a member of the PTFA team will get back to you.
