Our 3G Astro Turfs opened in 2015 and pupils have been enjoying the new facilities which have been used continuously throughout the winter. The grass pitches have been carefully nurtured, and they were inspected recently by Richard Macgregor, the Sports Field Consultant who was appointed to design and manage the project. Richard was delighted with the condition of the grass and the soil, and confirmed that with a good growing season ahead of us the pitches will be fit for play at the start of September 2016. The synthetic cricket wicket has been fitted this week and will also be ready for September. Our pupils are really excited about using the new facilities in the Autumn Term.

W Stirland have almost completed the Discovery Wing at the front of the school, with final fixings now being installed. Landscaping to the front of the site in Park Avenue will commence during the half term break. The anticipated handover date for the new building is 17th June 2016 with full occupation and timetabled lessons expected week commencing Monday 27th June 2016. The spacious and elegant design will facilitate the best opportunity to provide outstanding lessons and facilities for our pupils.
