On Thursday 29 September we welcomed The Mayor and other VIPs to the official opening of the new Discovery Block! We have brand new classrooms, a new Discovery Centre and a brand new restaurant and cafe! 

Headteacher, Paul Foxley said, "I am absolutely thrilled with our fantastic new facilities. I believe that every child, whatever their background or abilities, deserves a high quality education, and my outstanding team of teachers provides this."

Cllr Ponsonby said, "It's really exciting to see Purbrook Park School developing so well with excellent up-to-date facilities which will give pupils every opportunity to grow and find their talents."

Chair of Governors, Paul Evelyn said, "The governors are extremely proud to have delivered such a brilliant new resource for the children of Purbrook and the surrounding area."

Spencer Luff in Year 8 said, "I love the new building. The new classes are amazing and the possibilities are endless. Food technology is teaching young pupils key life skills for the future. This is why I love the new building."
