Purbrook Park School Gets Working on National Careers Week

On Tuesday 3rd February, pupils from Purbrook Park School took to the stage to compete in Dance Live! They performed their piece "Two worlds, One secret" to a packed audience at Portsmouth Guildhall.
This year, pupils from Purbrook Park School have shown their support for the Home-Start Havant charity (part of Home-Start Hampshire) and to Motiv8, who support local families in need throughout the year. At Christmas, Home-Start run a Christmas Hamper Appeal and the pupils at Purbrook Park School have been instrumental in making this happen!
After seeing recent articles in the local and national news about how bleed kits could save the lives of young people in schools, local business – ICEE – EV; located in Waterlooville, decided to buy 10 kits to generously donate to local secondary schools.
We are delighted to congratulate our Year 11 pupils on achieving record-breaking GCSE results once again.
This week, Purbrook Park School pupils from years 7 and 8 have been taking part in the National Careers Challenge.
On Wednesday 23rd April, Purbrook Park School took their team of 95 pupils from year 7-11 to compete in the Senior Dance Live Finals. Having won their heat in February, it was time to compete against the winners from the heats in Guildford, Hastings, Blackpool and High Wycombe.
