As a Language College, Purbrook Park School receives money from the government to make the teaching and learning in a variety of modern foreign languages accessible to the community and local businesses.
To support the linguistic needs of the local community, Purbrook Park School and Language College will be offering Adult Education courses in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Latin starting in September 2007 at various levels from Beginners to Advanced learners including GCSE and AS Level courses. |

Purbrook Park School and Language College has available a number of Independent Learning Packages in the following languages: Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, Polish, Modern Greek, Hindi, Swahili, Swedish, Portuguese, Gujerati, Turkish, Dutch, Hebrew and Welsh.
The John Baker Language Centre can be made available for those wishing to use the centre to learn these languages independently supported by staff at the school. The cost would be at £2 per hour's usage.
