Pupils wishing to cycle to PPS must have a cycle permit which is obtainable from Pupil Services. 

Cycle permits are issued on the condition that the cycle has been checked by an adult and is roadworthy, and that the child wears a cycle helmet.

PPS recommends that the bicycle should have both front and rear lights, and pupils are encouraged to wear some form of luminous bands on their clothing for safety on dark evenings.

Pupils who cycle to school should dismount at the school gates and wheel their cycles to the racks.  Whenever pupils leave the school, they are expected to wheel their cycles to the main gate before mounting.

We advise parents to insure their child's cycle against theft or vandalism as PPS will not be held responsible for any damage or theft while on the grounds.
